Sénégal Numérique SA celebrated International Women's Day by honoring its female employees.
Showered with gifts by CEO Cheikh taiyuan mobile number database and the male employees, the women of SENUM SA spent a pleasant day between Technopôle, Colobane, and Almadies, where they rounded off the festivities with a lavish feast hosted by the company and the Association.
Previously, as if to demonstrate that March 8th is also a day of sharing and solidarity, they went to bring joy to the young girls of John F. Kennedy High School. On site, in addition to gifts and fun activities, Racky Sy, Fatou Seck, Ndèye Fall and company spoke with the high school girls around the theme of "female leadership in an inclusive digital world."
"Our presence in these premises is motivated by a desire to share our experience with the aim of encouraging you to embrace digital careers," said Marianne Dia on behalf of the Sénégal Numérique SA delegation.
The principal of the John F. Kennedy High School in Dakar, Fatima Sow Sarr, for her part, welcomed this significant gesture before making a plea for more girls and women in the digital world in order to "make the young student a citizen ready to face the world.
The days of anonymity are over. On Facebook and Instagram, users can now prove their identity by paying $11.99 per month. Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of this paid service on February 19, which will allow a select few to access a "verified" account.
Pay to be yourself? Social networks have always avoided crossing this line. "We see this as an industry-wide movement," Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri defended in a video posted on the platform. "YouTube has done it, as have Twitter, Discord, Reddit..." This subscription will first be tested in Australia and New Zealand.
